Appreciation Station is a quick and simple method to foster positive team dynamics by providing a structured way for team members to express gratitude and appreciation for one another. It boosts morale and strengthens relationships within the group.
Use this method at the end of a meeting, workshop, or project to acknowledge individual contributions and create a positive closing experience. It's particularly effective when team morale needs a boost or after a challenging period.

Step 1: Select the first team member to receive appreciation. Ask them to close their eyes or look away from the screen. (2 minutes)

Step 2: Instruct everyone else to write down a word or short phrase of appreciation for the selected person on a sticky note or piece of paper. (5 minutes)

Step 3: On the count of three, have the selected person open their eyes and read the appreciation notes displayed by the other team members. (3 minutes)

Step 4: Repeat the process for other team members, as time allows. (5-10 minutes)
