Use this method when you have generated a large number of ideas and need to narrow them down into a manageable set of well-developed solutions for further exploration and prototyping.

How It Works

Solves: Difficulty moving from a large quantity of ideas to a focused set of actionable solutions; feeling overwhelmed by the number of options.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps to facilitate this method

Step 2: Discuss the common themes and best elements within each cluster. (20 minutes)

  3. 3

Step 3: Combine clusters to build larger groupings based on overarching patterns and insights. (30 minutes)

  4. 4

Step 4: Refine the groupings into fully-fledged solutions, considering how the best elements can work together as a system. (25 minutes)
