Care About is a virtual icebreaker that fosters connection by inviting participants to share a personal story connected to an object within reach. It's effective for building trust and discovering commonalities in remote teams.
Use this method at the beginning of a virtual meeting or workshop to create a more personal and engaging atmosphere, especially when working with remote teams or new groups.

Step 1: Welcome participants and ask them to turn on their webcams. (2 minutes)

Step 2: Pose the question: "Find an object within reach that you care about." (1 minute)
