When to Use

Use this method at the beginning of a workshop or meeting to energize participants, break down barriers, and create a lighthearted atmosphere. It's particularly effective when you need to improve team cohesion and encourage active participation.

How It Works

Solves: Lack of energy in the room, reluctance to participate, feeling of disconnect among team members.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps to facilitate this method
  1. 1

Step 1: Lay out We Connect Cards (or similar action prompts) face up. (2 minutes)

  2. 2

Step 2: Instruct participants to spread out in an open area and walk around silently. (1 minute)

  3. 3

Step 3: After approximately 10 seconds, anyone can stop walking and perform the action on their card.

  4. 4

Step 4: Others who observe the action should join in, mimicking the movement. (Ongoing)

  5. 5

Step 5: The round ends when everyone is performing the same action. Record the time it took for the group to synchronize. (2 minutes)

  6. 6

Step 6: Repeat for multiple rounds, challenging the group to improve their synchronization time. (5 minutes)
