Magical Gifts
A closing exercise where partners 'give' each other an imaginary, magical gift based on a strength or quality they observed during the session. It reinforces positive connections and leaves participants feeling valued.
To end a workshop on a high note of mutual appreciation and to solidify new relationships.
Solves: Sessions ending abruptly without closure or recognition of individual contributions.

Step 1: Place participants in pairs (breakout rooms or in-person) (1 minute).

Step 2: Each person reflects on what they appreciate about their partner's contribution today (2 minutes).

Step 3: Partners take turns 'handing over' an imaginary gift that represents that strength (e.g., 'I give you a golden megaphone so your great ideas are always heard') (5-7 minutes).
- Encourage participants to be as creative and 'magical' as possible with their gifts.
- Model a gift first to show that it can be whimsical yet meaningful.
- Themed gifts related to the project or workshop topic.
