Push Catch
Push Catch is a quick and playful energizer that sharpens focus and mental agility. Participants react to contradictory instructions under pressure, creating laughter and engagement.
Use this activity to kick off a meeting or training session, especially when you need to boost energy levels and improve participants' ability to quickly process information.
Solves: Lack of focus at the start of a session; participants not fully engaged.

Step 1: Form a circle. The facilitator stands in the center with a ball. (2 minutes)

Step 2: Explain the rules: When the facilitator says 'PUSH,' the receiver must CATCH, and vice versa. (3 minutes)

Step 3: The facilitator throws the ball to a participant while calling out 'PUSH' or 'CATCH'. (5 minutes)

Step 4: If the receiver performs the wrong action, they are 'out' and leave the circle. (Ongoing)

Step 5: Continue until only one person remains, declaring them the winner. (Ongoing)
- Start slowly to allow participants to grasp the concept.
- Vary the speed and tone of your instructions to keep participants on their toes.
- Encourage laughter and lightheartedness; it's okay to make mistakes.
- Introduce more instructions (e.g., 'LEFT,' 'RIGHT') with corresponding actions.
- Allow eliminated players to re-enter the game after a certain number of rounds.
