Sensory Floor Walk

Participants remove their shoes and walk mindfully within their space, focusing entirely on the sensations in their feet. This movement-based meditation breaks the 'sitting' fatigue and grounds the participant in their physical environment.

Facilitator Tips
  • Play soft, ambient music during the walk.
  • Remind them this isn't about getting anywhere, just about the sensation of walking.
Variations
  • If space is limited, do a 'standing scan' where they just shift weight while stationary.
