Shadowing
Shadowing is a powerful observational technique where you closely follow and observe someone in their daily work environment to gain insights into their processes, challenges, and perspectives. It fosters empathy and provides a fresh understanding of complex systems.
Use Shadowing when you need to deeply understand a specific role, process, or customer experience within an organization. It's particularly useful for identifying hidden inefficiencies, understanding user needs, or onboarding new team members.
Solves: Lack of understanding of another person's role or perspective, siloed thinking, difficulty identifying process bottlenecks.
