Follow these steps to facilitate this method

Step 1: Ask participants to close their eyes or soften their gaze. (30 sec)

Step 2: Prompt them to identify one worry or to-do item they brought into the call. (30 sec)

Step 3: Instruct them to 'give themselves permission' to set that item aside for the duration of the meeting. (1 min)
Facilitator Tips
- Use a calm, steady tone of voice.
- Emphasize that they aren't ignoring the problems, just pausing them.
Variations
